The story is about a beauty pageant but the overall theme, ironically, is not to judge others, and to be yourself, love /5.

I know this book is part of a series, therefore, usually I'd just think that the story is going to carry on in the next book and think little of it, however, as far as I know the next book follows a different set of characters, therefore Dumplin' is, for all intents and purposes, more of a standalone book/5(K).
